Projects Nepal

Project Devghat Briddhashram

Click here to open the FLYER of this project.

Non Resident Nepali Association has adopted the Devghat Briddhashram as its charity project and has appointed Mr. Jiba Lamichane and myself as co chairs of the project and we are working very hard to make it a reality with renewed vigor.  I am working on fundraising in the USA and Canada while Jibaji is raising funds in other countries.

Devghat Briddhashram project is dedicated to building home for the Nepali Elderly in Devghat, Nepal. When completed, it will have 200 beds and will be built in phases, the first phase being a 50 bed housing unit for the elderly. It will have some private rooms, (one person per room), some semiprivate room (2 persons to a room) and some dormitory rooms (4-10 beds in a large room) and fee structures including “no charge”  will be structured by the local organization with a view to make it self-sustainable.

Fund raising
Funds or building the Devghat Briddhashram will be raised by soliciting contributions from the Non Resident Nepalis (NRN) all across the world. Depending upon the donation in US dollars, the donors will be classified as:
